1. Who we are

Finintel ("Finintel", "we", "us", "our") is a software product owned and operated by Leiswer International, a sole-proprietorship business based in Pune, Maharashtra, India ("the Company"). Where these Terms refer to "Leiswer International", "we", or "us", they refer to the Company.

2. The service

Finintel is a software-as-a-service decision intelligence tool that helps individual users frame, model, compare, and journal personal financial decisions. The service is delivered through the website at finintel.app and the application at app.finintel.app.

Finintel is a tool for thinking, not a regulated financial product. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice. Outputs are illustrative and depend entirely on inputs and assumptions you provide. You are solely responsible for your decisions.

3. Eligibility & account

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use Finintel. We verify this at sign-up by collecting your birth year, which we also use to power age-dependent calculations such as your Financial Freedom Roadmap.
• You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep it current.
• You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access at support@finintel.app.

4. Subscription & payments

Finintel offers a free Starter plan and paid plans (Pro, Lifetime). Paid plans are billed through our merchant of record, who is the legal seller for your transaction. The merchant of record handles payment processing, taxes (including VAT/GST), and invoicing.

• Pro is a recurring subscription billed monthly or annually until cancelled.
• Lifetime is a single payment for ongoing access; "lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the Finintel product.
• Prices are listed on the website and may change for new sign-ups. Existing subscriptions retain their pricing for the current term.
• You can cancel a recurring subscription at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. Full terms are in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Finintel for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except as permitted by law;
• Resell, sublicense, or repackage the service without our written permission;
• Use automated means (scrapers, bots) to access the service except where we explicitly provide an API;
• Upload content that infringes third-party rights, contains malware, or is unlawful;
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the service or other users' accounts.

7. Your data & content

You own the decisions, inputs, and content you create in Finintel ("Your Content"). By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the service to you.

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

All software, design, branding, templates, content, and documentation that make up Finintel are owned by Leiswer International or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use Finintel solely for its intended purpose, in accordance with these Terms.

9. Disclaimers

Finintel is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

Specifically and without limitation:

• Finintel does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
• Calculations and projections are illustrative and depend on inputs and assumptions you supply.
• Past results, scenarios, or projected outcomes do not guarantee future performance.
• You should consult a licensed professional before making material financial decisions.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall Leiswer International, its owner, employees, or contractors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or financial outcomes, arising out of or in connection with your use of Finintel.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Leiswer International harmless from any claims, losses, or damages, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the service, or your violation of any third party's rights.

12. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continued provision of the service to you poses a security or legal risk. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@finintel.app or using the in-app delete option.

On termination, your access ends and we will delete or anonymise your data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Finintel after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra, India, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.

Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to first contact us at legal@finintel.app to attempt good-faith resolution.

15. Miscellaneous

• Severability: if any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
• No waiver: our failure to enforce a provision does not waive it.
• Assignment: you may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them as part of a business transfer.
• Entire agreement: these Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding Finintel.
